Chloé Griffin is an artist, actress and filmmaker living in Berlin. She was born in California and grew up in Canada.

In 2003 she moved to Berlin to complete, with collaborator and friend Martin Deckert, the experimental film Speed Madness and Flying Saucers. Her more recent films, Ramadan in Space Time (2009), Projections II (2010), Golden Rush (2014) have been screened in festivals, events, and art spaces including Arsenal – Institut für Film und Videokunst (Berlin), Basso (Berlin), and VIDEO WORKS 2014 (Beirut).

She has appeared often as a live performer - for instance in a 2012 staging of a performance piece by Valeska Gert with the music group Stereo Total. In Winter of 2014 she was a part of the Dar Ma’Mun residency in Marrakech, where she exhibited a filmic installation and live performance based on 8th century Arabic poetry.

As an actress, she starred in several low budget French Canadian Horror films as well as the films Saturn Returns (2009) and L’ Amour Sauvage (2013) by Lior Shamriz, and will feature in Desire Will Set You Free by Yony Leyser (2015, in post-production).
